Kingston has been showcasing their latest Kingston IronKey D300 encrypted USB drive, which is available in capacities ranging from 4 GB up to 128 GB and offers affordable business-grade security with 140-2 Level 3 Certification, with 256-bit AES hardware encryption in XTS mode. Kingston says the encrypted USB drive protects 100% of data stored and enforces complex password protection to prevent any unauthorised access from unwanted third parties. After 10 invalid attempts the drive will lockdown and reformat itself automatically to protect against brute force attacks.
Equipped with SuperSpeed USB 3.0 technology the encrypted USB drive also provides extremely fast transfer speeds. USB drive is also waterproof up to 4 feet and conforms to IEC60529 IXP82. Ken Campbell, Flash business manager, Kingston explains more :
