If you have purchased the new Kindle 4 device supported by special offer adverts, but have come to the decision that actually you can live without them. Amazon has now made it possible to remove adverts from your new Kindle 4 device via a $30 advert opt-out upgrade available from the Amazon Online Store.
To remove the adverts from your Kindle 4 device visit the ‘Manage your Kindle’ webpage where you can edit your subscriptions for the newest entry-level Kindle 4 e-reader.
In the Subscribe column, click Edit next to your Kindle 4, and follow the instructions on the screen that displays. You will then be charged $30, which is the amount you received as a discount when you first bought your Kindle 4 model. At the moment the advert opt-out feature only works on Amazons latest Kindle 4 device.
