Looking for something a little more original to dock your iPhone into? Then feast your eyes on these custom built iXoost iPhone audio docking stations made from exhaust manifolds.
iXoost recycles different exhaust manifolds and combines them with solid aluminium bases, which have been created using 5-axis milling machines. They are then equipped with innovative loudspeakers together with a 140W active subwoofer, and are available in either 8, 10 or 12 cylinder versions.
iXoost have also created their very own custom iOS application which has coordinated graphics and technical HQ, allows you to access your playlist and is now available as a stand-alone version on the iTunes App Store for $0.99
“Every iXoost is unique, but given the particularity of the object, we have given a lot of thought to making it even more customisable.
We have toyed around with cut-aways, colours, leathers and other materials in order to make it a clear expression of our customers’ own tastes and personalities.
Various anodising treatments coupled with various leathers with contrasting stitching are but a few of the variants to choose from to create your own tailor-made iXoost.”
Each iXoost system is made to order so you will need to contact iXoost if you are interested in purchasing one of these unique audio iPhone docks, more information is available from the iXoost website.Filed Under: Apple, Design News, Gadgets News, Geeky Stuff, Top News
