Apple’s iPhone XS is designed to be more waterproof than the iPhone X, the handset comes with an iP 68 rating.
This means that the iPhone XS is designed to be submerged in up to two meters for up to 30 minutes without sustaining any water damage. In the video below we get tom find out just how waterproof Apple’s new iPhone is.
As we can see from the video the new iPhone performed well in the water tests as did the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
It looks like the new iPhone performed above waterproof specifications as it was able to survive at 40 feet below the water where as the note 9 did not survive at that depth.
Apple’s new iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max smartphones are now available to buy, the handsets launched last Friday and prices for the XS start at $999 and the XS Max $1099.
