We have heard rumors in the past that the iPhone 6 will get a new fingerprint sensor with Apple’s TouchID, and now according to a recent report, TSMC are making the new TouchID fingerprint sensor for Apple.
TSMC are also rumored to be producing the new Apple A8 mobile processor for the company, this new 64-bit mobile processor is said to launch in the iPhone 6 and it is also expected to be available in the new iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3.
As well as the iPhone 6, both the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 are also said to feature the new version of Apple’s TouchID, the new sensor is said to be more durable and accurate than the first generation sensor.
Apple are expected to release a 4.7 inch version of the iPhone 6 first, this handset is said to launch with iOS 8 and the Apple iWatch. There will also be a 5.5 inch version of the new iPhone which is rumored to launch a month later.
We are expecting the new iPhone 6 to land some time in September, this will be the 4.7 inch version of the device, the 5.5 inch model is rumored to launch in October.
As soon as we get some more details on the new Apple iPhone, and also some more information on the new iPad range, we will let you guys know.
