Last week we heard that Apple had increased their orders from suppliers of their new iPhone 6 Plus smartphone, due to higher than expected demand for the handset.
Now T-Mobile CEO, John Legere has revealed some more information about the demand for the iPhone 6 Plus handset, and according to him demand for the device is much higher than expected.
Legere did not reveal any details on the current demand for the handset, although he did say that the company has expected demand for the iPhone 6 to be at around 75 to 80 percent, and demand for the 6 Plus to be between 20 to 25 percent.
Actual demand for the iPhone 6 Plus when it was launched on T-Mobile was a lot higher, with demand for the device at around 45 percent and demand for the smaller iPhone 6 at around 55 percent.
The company has seen massive demand for both models of Apple’s new iPhone 6, and he said that having the handsets available on T-Mobile was one of his biggest priorities since he took over as CEO in 2012.
Apple as not revealed any specific sales figures for the iPhone 6 Plus, whhen the company has announced sales figures, the two handsets are not broken down into individual sales, what we do know is that the iPhone 6 launch has been Apple’s most popular smartphone launch to date.
