It looks like there could be another possible issue with Apple’s iOS 6 on the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, as a number of users are reporting issues with the battery on their handsets since installing iOS 6.
According to the guys over at Mac Observer, some users of the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 are noticing that their handset is using considerably more power than when their devices was running iOS 6.
One user who has been using his iPhone 4S with iOS 6 is reporting that his handset has around 17 percent battery power by the end of the day, as opposed to 60 percent when the device was used with iOS 5.1.
I have noticed myself that the battery does not last as long in iOS 6 as it did with iOS 5.1, although I have not run any specific tests to see what the difference is, although at the end of the day the battery is lower than it was with iOS 5.1 whilst using the device for the same tasks.
We would be interested to heard from our readers if they have experienced the problem, if you own an iPhone 4 or 4S and are running iOS 6 and have noticed a lower battery than when running iOS 5.1, please leave a comment below and let us know.
