Apple’s newest creation, iPad Air, will hit the retail stores next Friday as well as several US carriers including AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile. Now, the fifth major carrier — US Cellular — announced that they will carry the new iPad Air starting November 8th. Users will have access to the carrier’s 4G network, along with several data plans.
The carrier is offering various data plans starting from $5 for 300MB data. If you need more cellular data, you can grab 1GB data for $10, 2GB for $20 and it keeps on increasing with the amount of data. In addition, US Cellular is offering 4GB for $30, 8GB for $50 and so on up to 50GB of data for an additional $10.
The new iPad Air comes with new design and features the latest A7 chip with M7 motion processor. The tablet boasts a 9.7-inch Retina display boasting a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, a 5MP iSight camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 1.2Mp front camera with 720p video capabilities for Facetime and voice calling, 32.4 watt lithium polymer battery that will give you up to 10 of usage and runs iOS 7 out of the box.
The WiFi + Cellular model costs $629 for the 16GB, $729 for 32GB, $829 for 64GB and $929 for 128GB model, and buyers have the choice of space gray and silver color options. The tablet will be available online as well as retail stores starting November 1st, but if you’re planning on getting it from US Cellular, you have to wait until November 8th.
