We have previously heard rumors that Apple will be holding an iPad press event in October, the company is expected to introduce the new iPad Air 2 and also the iPad Mini 3 with Retina Display.
Now according to a recent report, Apple will start selling the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 in October, which would mean that the Apple event will probably be some time within the first two weeks in October.
Apple are rumored to make some major updates to their iPad Air and iPad Mini 3 this year, both versions are rumored to feature the new Apple A8 processor that launched in the iPhone 6 last week.
As well as a new processor, these new iPads are expected to be the first Apple tablets that will come with a fingerprint scanner, which is currently available in the iPhone 5S and new iPhone 6 models.
We are not expecting any major design changes for the new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 with Retina display, Apple are expected to keep the same designs for the devices as the current models.
We are also expecting Apple to launch a new Apple TV device that with come with Apple’s HomeKit integration for home automation. As soon as we get some more details on exactly when the new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 will launch we will let you guys know.
