Apple released iOS 8 over 5 weeks ago, since then the company has also released a number of updates, including the recent iOS 8.1 update.
Apple has now released its latest iOS 8 adoption figures, and the latest versions of Apple’s mobile OS are now running on 52 percent of active iOS device.
Back in September we heard that adoption of Apple iOS 8 had reached 46 percent, so they have seen an increase of around 6 percent since last month.
Adoption of the new version of Apple’s mobile OS had slowed down, this was mainly due to the release of iOS 8.0.1 which caused a number of issues for iPhone and iPad owners, Apple quickly pulled the update.
Since the release of iOS 8.1 last week, if looks like the adoption of Apple’s mobile OS has speeded up again, as this update fixed the previous issues and also added in the features like Apple Pay.
