Apple has released its latest iOS adoption figures ahead of the launch of iOS 9, the previous version of Apple’s mobile OS, iOS 8 is now sitting at an 87% adoption rate.
Earlier versions of iOS usage are made up of 11% of users on iOS 7 and 2% of users on older versions of Apple’s mobile OS.
According to MixPanel, iOS 9 adoption is close to 1%, this is from the various betas of the software that Apple has released and we can expect this to change significantly over the next few days.
Apple iOS 9 will be made available to the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch later today, the software comes with a range of new features, which include split screen multi-tasking, Apple News and much more.
As soon as we get some more details on exactly what time Apple will be releasing iOS 9, we will let you guys know.
