It appears that a new iOS 7.1.1 Jailbreak is now available to download for both Windows and Mac systems, but the circumstances behind the jailbreak itself are a little concerning.
It’s been reported that the OS 7.1.1 Jailbreak was stolen from another respected iOS developer and exploiter who did not want the exploit he had discovered to be revealed to the public.
When Stefan Esser (ion1c) discovered that the Chinese based Pangu team was going to release an OS 7.1.1 Jailbreak, he suspected they were going to use an iOS exploit he discovered and shares with students that attend his training classes, to help developers and interested parties learn more about developing exploits for iOS.
The current OS 7.1.1 Jailbreak is compatible with iPhone 5S, 5, 5C, 4S, 4, iPad Mini, iPad Air, and iPod Touch running Apple’s iOS 7.1 up to iOS 7.1.x can use this jailbreak and is available via the PanGu website.
Now the OS 7.1.1 Jailbreak is out in the open you can expect Apple developers to be all over the exploit looking for a way to close it down. with the launch of the next iOS 7.1.x update or iOS 8 set to roll-out later this year.
