According to a recent report by the BGR, who have received some information from one of their sources, Apple will be releasing iOS beta 8 to developers this Friday, and this could mean that the iOS 5 Gold Master build will be available around the 23rd of September.
According to the report, this would mean that hardware manufacturers who are making the iPhone 5 for Apple will get the Gold Master version of iOS 5 shortly after the 23rd and then will have until the 5th of October to give technical acceptance to Apple.
This would mean that the iPhone 5 could launch shortly after the 5th of October, which ties in with the previous reports we have heard that the iPhone 5 will launch in early October.
This would also tie in with the reports that Apple are going to officially announce the iPhone 5 some time this month, and would mean would could expect an announcement within the next couple of weeks.
