Intel is expected to launch Intel NUC Haswell equipped system in the third quarter of this year, and has been created to fix a number of issues experienced with the current generation of Intel NUC systems.
Intel’s Next Unit of Computing or NUC for short is a range of mini PCs that measure just 4 x 4 x 1.5 inches in size, but provides enough power to be a desktop workstation.
The Intel NUC Haswell systems will provide onboard audio, additional USB 3.0 ports, 15W TDP, and a SATA connector, together with plastic and aluminium chassis.
The new Intel NUC Haswell systems will be also fitted with similar specs to the Ivy Bridge NUC systems including dual mPCIe/SATA slots and SODIMM DDR3 slots.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet for the new Intel NUC Haswell mini PCs, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated.
