If you are looking for a budget solid state disk drive (SSD), for your project or PC system. You might be interested to learn that details for Intel’s new 330 series have started to appear online, and the prices look excellent value for money.
Information leaked to SabrePC, the Intel’s MLC-based SSD will be available in three storage capacities, 60, 120 and 180 GB. Offering a good range of storage sizes and being available for $89, $149 and $234 respectively.
The new Intel 330 Series devices include a SATA 6 Gbps interface and promise sequential data transfer rates of up to 450 MBps for write processes and up to 500 MBps for read processes.
Unfortunately the drives still remain out of stock online but an official announcement is expected sometime within the next month or early May from Intel. So keep your eyes pealed if you looking to grab a bargain SSD.
