A year ago at the 2015 Detroit Auto show Infiniti unveiled the Q60 concept car. Fast-forward a year and the production version of the car has now been unveiled at the same show and it looks very much like that concept did back in 2015. Power of the Q60 comes from a 3.0L V6 twin turbo engine that will be offered in two power ratings.
The V6 will come with 300hp or 400hp. The car can be fitted with optional Dynamic Digital Suspension designed to provide handling and ride comfort. The car is rear wheel drive and has a drive mode selector for the direct adaptive steering that allows the driver to customize the feel of the car to their tastes.
Infinity isn’t offering up any details on the price of the car or the performance at this time. Infinity thinks that the new Q60 will attract new customers to the Infiniti brand. Roland Krueger, president, Infiniti Motor Company Ltd., said, “The Infiniti Q60 conveys a powerful elegance through its daring design, next-generation ride and handling technologies, and powertrains offering up to 400 horsepower. The Q60 will attract new customers to the Infiniti brand and affirm our position in the sports coupe segment.”
