Remembering to carry a charging cable with you can sometimes be a pain and if you forget one trying to charge your smartphone can become a real chore.
Engineering students Lorenzo and Carlo based in Politecnico di Milano, in Italy think they may have the solution and have created a tiny charging cable called inCharge that comes with either a microUSB or Lightning connection. The inCharge project consists of a tiny lopped cable and is currently over on the Indiegogo crowd funding website looking to raise $20,000 in pledges to make the jump from concept to production. The idea is so awesome that the project has already raised $217,123 with 15 days remaining.
“After experiencing frustration with the battery life of our smartphones, we decided to do something: create the most compact charging cable, to be always carried along. It’s a very simple product, yet so useful that we believe everybody should own one. That’s why one of our main goals was to keep it affordable. There are already solutions such as power cases and extra batteries, but they are either not portable enough or easy to forget.”
