iHome has unveiled a new addition to their range of speakers this week, with the launch of their new iHome iW2 AirPlay system. The iHome iW2 wireless speaker system is equipped with airPlay, and allows you to connect to your iTunes library through your home WiFi network.
Once connected you can then use the supplied remote to control your music through the iHome iW2. Evan Stein, Director of Marketing, iHome explains:
“Many whole home audio systems require a significant investment from consumers and, until recently, a certain level of technical skill as well,”-“Easy to set up, the iW2 offers a cost-effective entry into the world of wireless home entertainment without sacrificing quality or functionality.”
iHome iW2 Airplay wireless speaker system measures 5.83 x 10.52 x 3.03 inches(HWD) and will be arriving in stores on April 1st and will retail for around $200, and is powered by a AC adapter. Sorry but no internal battery has been fitted for portability.
