Huawei is continuing the roll out of their Huawei Watch smartwatch, the company has announced that the device will launch in Australia on the 15th of October.
The device features a 1.4 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 400 x 400 pixels at 286ppi and it comes with a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm.
Other specifications on the device include a 300 mAh battery and 512MB of RAM, the device also comes with 4GB of built in storage and Google’s Android Wear OS.
“The Huawei Watch offers a range of smart features in a carefully-crafted timeless design,” said Howard Chen, director of Huawei Australia’s Consumer Business Group.
“Today, consumers are not only looking for a feature-packed smartwatch; they’re looking for a fashion statement. The Huawei Watch is the first watch on the market to truly bridge the gap between fashion and technology.”
The device will retail for AU$549 when it launches in Australia later this month, there will also be more expensive models available.
