The Samsung Galaxy Fold launched recently and it looks like Huawei are stil planning to launch their folding smartphone next month, the Huawei Mate X 5G.
After Samsung had problems with their original device Huawei out theirs on hold, to make sure they did not have similar issues.
We recently heard that the Huawei Mate X 5G would be launching in October and now the company has confirmed the device is still launching next month.
The handset features an 8 inch OLED display that features a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels, when the device is folded the main display measures 6.6 inches and it has a resolution of 2480 x 1148 pixels.
Mate X comes with a Kirin 980 processor and a choice of 6GB, 8GB and 12GB of RAM. Storage options include 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.
The handset comes with three rear cameras, these include one 40 megapixel camera, one 16 megapixel camera and one 8 megapixel camera. As yet we do not have an exact launch date in October for the device, as soon as we get some more details we will let you guys know.
