Huawei has a number of decent high-end devices in its product portfolio and the company is rumored to be working on yet another high-end phablet, the Huawei Mate 10.
According to a new rumor, the alleged Huawei Mate 10 is already in works and is said to launch later this year in October which is the traditional time frame for the Chinese manufacturer to update its Mate series.
Display and Design
The rumor continues to mention some important details about the alleged device, including the fact that it’s going to be taller with a 18:9 Full Active display from JDI. Rumors suggest it’s going to boast an edge-to-edge 6-inch 2160×1080 pixels screen, making it taller than the Mate 9, but narrower compared to the current flagship phablet. This new aspect ratio is becoming increasingly popular as it allows for a larger display area without making the device too wide to hold comfortably. The edge-to-edge design is expected to provide an immersive viewing experience, making it ideal for multimedia consumption and gaming.
Camera and Performance
Furthermore, it’s also expected to boast a dual-camera setup on the back for photos and videos. Dual-camera systems have become a staple in high-end smartphones, offering features such as optical zoom, improved low-light performance, and the ability to create bokeh effects. The Mate 10’s camera setup is rumored to include a combination of a high-resolution primary sensor and a secondary sensor for depth information, which should result in stunning photos and videos.
In terms of performance, the Huawei Mate 10 is expected to be powered by the company’s latest Kirin processor, which promises to deliver top-notch performance and efficiency. The Kirin series has been known for its powerful performance, and the Mate 10 is likely to continue this trend. Coupled with ample RAM and storage options, the device should be able to handle multitasking and demanding applications with ease.
Software and Features
On the software front, the Mate 10 is expected to run on Huawei’s EMUI, which is based on the latest version of Android. EMUI is known for its customization options and additional features that enhance the user experience. The Mate 10 is likely to come with a host of software enhancements, including improved AI capabilities, better battery management, and enhanced security features.
Battery life is another area where the Mate 10 is expected to excel. Huawei’s Mate series has always been known for its impressive battery life, and the Mate 10 is rumored to come with a large battery that should easily last a full day of heavy usage. Fast charging technology is also expected to be included, allowing users to quickly top up their battery when needed.
Connectivity and Additional Features
In terms of connectivity, the Mate 10 is expected to support the latest standards, including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC. This will ensure that users can stay connected and enjoy fast data speeds wherever they go. Additionally, the device is likely to come with a range of sensors, including a fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking and possibly even facial recognition technology.
There’s no official word from Huawei about the existence of this handset, and there won’t be any until the official launch date. Nonetheless, we’ll keep an eye on the rumor mill and update you as soon as we get any other information.
