Huawei is expected to launch a number of new Mate devices in the coming weeks, including the Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Lite.
Mate 10 Lite will be the least expensive of the trio, but it’s no way a budget-friendly device. Over the past few weeks, we’ve heard quite a lot about the handset, but it was initially leaked as the Huawei G10.
The handset is codenamed Maiming 6 and is rumored to launch as the G10 in the company’s home country. The report suggests that it will launch outside the Chinese market as the Mate 10 Lite, courtesy of @evleaks.
The prolific leaker mentions that the handset will come with a 5.9-inch Full HD display with an 18:9 screen as well as a quad-camera setup on board. Rumors suggest that there’s a dual camera setup on the front and back of the device. Other features includes an octa-core Kirin 659 system-on-chip clocked at 2.36GHz, 4GB of RAM, a 3.340 mAh battery, 64GB of internal storage and is expected to ship with Android Oreo as its operating system.
The handset is expected to launch in Munich on October 16th for €379 ($455). Color options include blue, black, and gold.
