Huawei is expected to launch the Honor 8 smartphone in India at a press event on October 12. The company didn’t shed any light on how much it’s going to cost in the country, but we have some information about it.
According to a new report, Huawei Honor 8 will carry a price tag of INR 29,999 when it launches in India next week, while Honor 8 Smart would be going for RS 19,999.
The company said in a statement that the pricing is not yet finalized so this could just be a prediction of one of the retailers, Mahesh Telecom, in order to gain user attention.
As a quick recap, the Huawei Honor 8 comes with a 5.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, a Kirin 950 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Other features includes a 12MP camera for photos and videos, an 8MP front-facing camera, a 3,000 mAh battery and ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed out of the box.
