We have seen a number of leaked photos of the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 over the last few week, the device is now official, and we have all the details on Huawei’s latest Android smartphone.
The Huawei Ascend Mate 2 features a 6.1 inch high definition display that is equipped with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The handset comes with 4G LTE and will be available with a choice of processors, a quad core 1.6GHz Qualcomm MSM8928 processor or a quad core 1.6GHz HiSilicon Cortex-A9 processor which is made by Huawei.
The Ascend Mate 2 will also comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of included storage, should you need any more storage, there is also a microSD card slot that offers support for 32GB cards.
The Huawei Ascend Mate 2 also comes with a 5 megapixel front facing f/2.5 camera and a 13 megapixel f/2.0 camera on the back.
The device will come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and it features a 4,050 mAh battery, it will also come with Huawei’s Emotion UI 2.0.
Huawei have announced that the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 will launch in the US in March, the handset will be available with mobile carrier AT&T.
As yet we do not have any details on how much the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 will retail for, as soon as we get some more information, and confirmation of the exact launch date, we will let you guys know.
