Recently, Huawei posted a teaser video suggesting that the company plans to launch a smartphone as well as a tablet at the Mobile World Congress next week. The video used Siri to find out what’s coming, and it ended with, “It looks like Huawei is ready to amaze the world.” We’re not sure if it will amaze us or not until we see what it is.
Recently, @evleaks posted a press render of the alleged Huawei Ascend G6, which may not be the flagship device from the Chinese OEM, but still looks pretty good in the leaked render.
The details are scarce about the alleged Huawei Ascend G6, but rumors suggest it will rock a 4.5-inch display with an unknown resolution, and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM, MicroSD card support for expandable storage, 8MP rear camera for photos and videos with a 5MP front-facing camera and should come with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
The handset is rumored to launch at the Mobile World Congress where the Chinese OEM is also expected to unveil Huawei Ascend P7, Ascend D7 and a tablet known as MediaPad X1. Stay tuned as we’ll update you once they are official.
