Previous rumors have suggested that HTC would be launching two flagships this year, the HTC U12 and HTC U12+. Now it would appear that the company will be launching just one smartphone, the HTC U12+.
HTC are apparently looking to streamline their portfolio of devices for this year and have decided to only release one of these two handsets. The company recently introduced their new HTC Desire 12 smartphones.
We previously heard some rumored specifications on the U12+, the handset is rumored to come with a 6 inch display that will have a WQHD+ resolution. The device will apparently come with a total of four different cameras, two on the front and two on the back.
On the front of the U12+ there will be two cameras, each one will come with an 8 megapixel sensor. On the back of the device there will be two cameras. One will come with a 12 megapixel sensor and the other one with a 16 megapixel sensor.
Other specifications on the new HTC U12+ will include a Snapdragon 845 processor and 6GB of RAM. The device will come with a choice of either 64GB of 128GB of storage. If you need some extra storage it will come with a microSD card slot fore expansion. The device will also come with a 3420 mAh battery.
