HTC has officially released the U series smartphones in India, including the HTC U Ultra and U Play smartphones.
HTC U Ultra and U Play will go on sale on March 6th in the country and costs INR 59,990 and INR 39,990, respectively.
HTC U Ultra comes with an excellent set of specifications, boasting a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels with the processing handled by a Snapdragon 821 processor and 4GB of RAM, as well as 64/128GB of internal storage. Other features includes a 12Mp camera for photos and videos, 16Mp front-facing camera, a 4,000 mAh battery and ships with Android 7.0 Nougat as its operating system.
As for the HTC U Play, it’s more of a mid-range smartphone and features slightly trimmed down specifications compared to U Ultra. There’s a 5.2-inch 1080p display, Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 paired with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. There’s a 16MP rear and front-facing camera, a 2,500 mAh battery and ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
