Over the past few days, we’ve heard quite a lot about HTC’s upcoming device, the HTC U (Ocean), including leaked press renders and images.
To put an end to the rumors, HTC has officially announced that its next flagship device, believed to be the HTC U, will be unveiled on May 16th.
The company posted a small five-second teaser on their Twitter handle with the tagline: “Squeeze for the brilliant U”. This hints that the upcoming smartphone may very well be the HTC U as rumored before.
According to previous rumors, a 5.5-inch QHD display with the processing handled by a Snapdragon 835 processor and 64/128GB storage options. Other rumored features includes a 12MP camera for photos and videos, a 16MP front-facing camera, a massive 4,000 mAh battery, and Android 7.0 Nougat as its operating system out of the box with Sense 9 UI on top of it.
