HTC has managed to increase its revenue by 41% in September, this is the first time that their overall revenue has increased this year.
In previous months HTC had seen a drop in revenue and whilst they did not reveal what helped them increase their revenue, we have a pretty good idea.
Google just announced the new Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, these handsets are made by HTC for Google.
It would appear that Google has paid HTC for their first production run of the new Pixel smartphones and these figures are likely included in the September revenue, HTC has yet to confirm this.
It will be interesting to see if the new Google Pixel phones can help HTC turn things around and whether the device will help them become profitable.
