HTC Press Event on September 19th: New Smartphones Unveiling
HTC are holding a press event on the 19th of September where they will be unveiling their latest smartphones. Last week, we saw some details on a new Windows Phone 8 device, the HTC 8X.
The details were posted to Twitter by XDA Developer @Football4PDA, and now the same person has listed some specifications for a new HTC One X+ smartphone. This is a handset we heard rumors about previously.
HTC One X+ Specifications and Features
The HTC One X+ is rumored to measure 134.36 x 69.9 x 9.3mm and weigh 129g. It is also rumored to feature an NVIDIA AP37 1.6GHz Quad-core processor, which is paired with a single-core 1.7GHz processor. This combination is expected to deliver impressive performance, making the device suitable for multitasking and high-performance applications.
Other rumored specifications on the new HTC One X+ include 32GB of storage, which should provide ample space for apps, photos, and other media. Additionally, we suspect it will come with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. This version of Android is known for its smooth performance and enhanced user experience, thanks to features like Google Now and Project Butter.
Anticipated Features and Enhancements
In addition to the hardware specifications, the HTC One X+ is expected to come with several enhancements over its predecessor. For instance, the device might feature an improved camera system, offering better low-light performance and faster shutter speeds. This would make it an excellent choice for photography enthusiasts.
Battery life is another area where the HTC One X+ could see improvements. With a more efficient processor and possibly a larger battery, users can expect longer usage times between charges. This would be a significant upgrade for those who rely heavily on their smartphones throughout the day.
Connectivity options are also likely to be robust, with support for 4G LTE networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC. These features would ensure that the HTC One X+ remains competitive in the fast-evolving smartphone market.
As soon as we get some more details on the new HTC One X+, along with some actual pictures of the handset, we will let you guys know. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the HTC press event on September 19th.
