HTC announced their new HTC Desire Eye yesterday, along with their new HTC RE camera, one device that we were expecting to see at the press event was the new HTC One M8 Eye.
There was no mention of the new HTC One M8 Eye at the press event, although the device is now listed on HTC’s official website in China.
We wonder why there was no official announcement from HTC one the new One M8 Eye at the event, it looks like the handset may be available in China only.
The HTC One M8 Eye comes with a 5 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the device is powered by a 2.3GHz quad core processor and 2GB of RAM, there is also 16GB of built in storage.
The specifications are the same as the original HTC One M8, apart from the cameras, the HTC One M8 Eye comes with a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 13 megapixel rear camera.
The HTC One M8 Eye will retail for 3,999 RMB in China, which is around $652 at the current exchange rate. As soon as we get some more information on whether the new One M8 Eye will be available outside of China, we will let you guys know.
