Not too long ago, the HTC One M8 Eye went on sale in China. It’s the same HTC One M8, but it ditches the UltraPixel camera setup on the device with a 13MP camera, which is definitely a welcoming news for HTC fans.
It’s not just the HTC One M8 Eye, it seems the Taiwanese company is working on the HTC One E8 Eye as well. HTC One E8 is a plastic version of the flagship device, and features a 13MP camera on the back of the device. Recently, the device landed in India as revealed by the imports tracking website Zauba.
The listing revealed that HTC One E8 comes in two colors: silver and gray. Several hundred units of the smartphone landed in India with a per unit value of 27,725 INR, so it should cost almost the same as the HTC One E8.
There’s no word about the differences between the simple HTC One E8 and the One E8 Eye. It could ship with Eye Experience out of the box, but One E8 is set to get it in the coming months. It could be the 13MP front-facing camera which was introduced with the HTC Desire Eye, or may be a change in design, it’s not confirmed.
Stay tuned, we’ll update you as soon as the handset is officially announced.
