Last month, President of HTC America Jason Mackenzie, mentioned on Twitter that HTC One would be directly updated to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean by the end of September — skipping the current Android 4.2.2. There is no news about the update for HTC One users, but Jason Mackenzie revealed in a second tweet that “We’re still working hard & optimistic for U.S. carrier certification.” However, he didn’t mention any exact release date when US users can expect the update to roll out. But, our wild guess is that it shouldn’t be long before the carriers start releasing the update, maybe October.
We’re still working hard & optimistic for U.S. carrier certification – stay tuned to @HTCUSA for more news soon.
