Earlier today HTC released an official teaser photo of their new HTC M7 or HTC One, and now it would appear that an official pres shot of the HTC M7 has been leaked ahead of today’s launch.
The photo below shows both the white and black versions of the new HTC M7, and the photos looks exactly the same as the leaked ones we saw last week of both versions.
HTC will officially announce the HTC M7 at a press event this afternoon, the device will be unveiled at an event which is being held in London and New York at the same time.
The HTC M7 or HTC One is rumored to come with a 4.7 inch full high definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the device is also rumored to feature a 13 megapixel camera with new camera technology.
The 13 megapixel camera is rumored to feature three camera sensor layers of 4.3 megapixels each, one on top of the other, and the handset will come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Other rumored specifications on the HTC M7 include a quad core 1.7GH Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM, the device is also expected to feature a new version of HTC’s custom user interface, HTC Sense 5.0.
We had previously thought that the HTC M7 was actually the codename for the device, and it would be announced as the HTC One, although there are a number of rumors this morning that the device will feature a different name in Europe and in the US.
According to various reports the European version of the handset will be called the HTC M7 and the US version of the device will be called the HTC One, I guess we will have to wait until this afternoon to find out.
