Windows Phone Tango is thought to be a new version of the Windows Phone OS that will sit between the Mango OS and the original Windows Phone 7. Rumors have the OS as a lower-cost smartphone offering. Right now, there are no smartphones out there running Tango, but you can get your hands on one that is for sale on Facebook of all places.
Apparently the person selling the phone is a developer or knows a dev. The device was flashed with the dev build of the Tango software and bidding starts at 150€ not counting shipping. It appears that you are on your own for updating the OS as well.
I can only assume that the reason the seller didn’t put the smartphone on eBay is that eBay would probably cancel the auction. The odd part about Facebook it that it seems Microsoft would be able to figure out who the seller is.
