HTC unveiled the Desire Eye smartphone at the Double Exposure event in New York. The smartphone comes with top-of-the-line specifications with an expected launch in October in the EMEA, Asia and the US.
If you’re based in India, you be glad to know that HTC Desire Eye will go up for sale in November. There’s no word about the pricing of the handset, but it will be exclusive to Amazon.in.
HTC Desire Eye comes with a 5.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz, and Adreno 330 GPU. There’s 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, coupled with a microSD card slot, and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 UI on top of it.
The most impressive feature of the feature is the 13MP front-facing camera with a dual LED Flash, f/2.0, and a 22mm wide-angle lens. Other features include a 13MP primary camera for photos and videos, a 2,400 mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE connectivity, NFC, and microUSB 2.0.
