We have been hearing rumors about the HTC Desire 500 over the last few weeks, the handset is now official and it will be launching in Taiwan on the 1st of August with Taiwan Mobile.
The HTC Desire 500 comes with a 4.3 inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, processing comes in the form of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with a clock speed of 1.2GHz.
Other specifications on the HTC Desire 500 include 1GB of RAM and 4GB of build in storage, there is also a microSD card slot for added storage.
The HTC Desire 500 features a 1.6 megapixel camera on the front and a rear facing 8 megapixel camera that can record HD video in 720p, it also comes with Android Jelly Bean and HTC Sense 5.
