HTC unveiled a couple of devices which will cater the needs of the mid-range smartphone market. One of them is Desire 816, which we already shared our readers, but there’s another device to join the ranks.
Along with the HTC Desire 816, HTC also unveiled the HTC Desire 610 that brings a 4.7-inch display featuring a similar design and a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, with LTE connectivity on board.
“Consumer choice should be about selecting the best-in-class features without having to compromise on quality,” said Philip Blair, President, HTC EMEA. “The HTC Desire 610 offers an outstanding combination of performance and entertainment at a price that makes it possible for everyone to enjoy an exceptional smartphone experience.”
The handset is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset with a clock speed of 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM on board. Other features include 8GB internal storage with a microSD card slot of extra storage, 8MP rear camera for photos and videos as well as 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2,040 mAh battery and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.5 UI pre-installed out of the box.
HTC Desire 610 will hit the retail shelves in Europe in May, but there’s no word about its price. We’ll update you as soon as we hear anything about its pricing.
