HP has announced a new feature that will launch with the companies first webOS TouchPad, called webOS Pivot, which is a new way to discover applications on HP’s new webOS app catalog that will also launch with the HP TouchPad on July the 1st.
HP’s webOS Pivot is a digital magazine which is designed to present a selection of webOS applications to TouchPad users, in an attempt to make it easier for you to find and discover webOS applications.
“Pivot brings app discovery to a new level for customers and developers alike,” said Richard Kerris, vice president, webOS Worldwide Developer Relations, HP. “We want our partners to experience webOS as the growing platform of opportunity, and we’re investing in new ways to help market their applications on our platform.”
HP’s webOS Pivot will be published once a month, and it is designed to help developers get more exposure for their applications as well as help TouchPad owners discover the latest applications.
