HP has today unveiled a new range of IPS-based displays, designed for the professional and business markets. The new ZR2x40w-series displays are equipped with new color-accurate in-plane switching (IPS) technology and range from the 20-inch ZR2040w, for $189 with a 1600 x 900 resolution, up to the 47-inch LD4720tm digital signage displays pictured after the jump.

In between, you have the 21.5-inch ZR2240w with a 1920 x 1080 resolution for $289, the 24-inch ZR2440w, which is expected to arrive in October for $425, and the 27-inch HP ZR2740w with a stunning 2560 x 1440 resolution and up to 1.07 billion colors for $729. These displays are designed to cater to a variety of professional needs, from graphic design and video editing to business presentations and digital signage.
