HP has this week announced the availability of a new HP Chromebox Bundle CB1-010 which provides you with everything you need to get a Google Chrome OS system up and running with ease.
The HP Chromebox is powered by an Intel 1.4 GHz Dual core Celeron 2955U with Intel HD Graphics 2 MB cache processor and comes supplied with 2 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 with room for expansion to 4GB if required.
The HP Chromebox also comes fitted with a 16GB SATA solid state disk (SSD) and supports 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity with Integrated 10/100/1000 BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet LAN.
Other features of the HP Chromebox bundle that measures just 4.96 x 4.88 x 1.54 inches in size, include a wireless chiclet-style keyboard with quick keys for volume control, dedicated hotkeys and wireless optical mouse to match.
The new HP Chromebox Bundle CB1-010 is priced at $199 and ships within 24hours and is available direct from the HP website. However be aware that the HP website lists the system is fanless, but Brad Linder over at the Liliputing website says the system is not, and I am much more likely to believe Brad than the website description.
