Anyone looking for a very low powered mini PC might be interested to know that Gigabyte has this week launched a new mini PC to its range, of bare bone systems, in the form of a new Gigabyte BRIX GB-BXBT-2807 system.
The new Gigabyte BRIX GB-BXBT-2807 is equipped with a low powered Intel Celeron N2807 dual-core processor with a TDP of just 4.3 watts, and measures just 56mm x 107mm x 114mm in size, supporting 2.5 inch thick 7.0/9.5mm Hard Drives (1 x 3Gbps SATA2).
The Gigabyte BRIX GB-BXBT-2807 features a single SO-DIMM DDR3L Slots (1333 MHz), HDMI connection and 1 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0 and 1 x Ethernet port. However the included mini PCIe card slot within the system is already used by an 802.11n + Bluetooth 4.0 card, for your information.
Gigabyte is planning to sell the new Gigabyte BRIX GB-BXBT-2807 as a barebones system enabling you to install your own storage, RAM and operating system of choice. Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated.
