HP has announced the launch of a new Education Edition Chromebook 11 G4 that will be available later this month throughout the US with prices starting from $199.
HP is creating three different models each with a different processor and display specifications, HP has also designed the laptop to have “co-molded rubber edges” which provides it with its Education Edition classification.
As the Chromebook 11 G4 EE is capable of passing a 2.3 ft drop test while also being equipped with a spill-resistant keyboard two protected from any student drink spills. Inside the outer casing HP has equipped the Chromebook with an Intel Celeron N2840 processor that is supported by 4 GB of RAM and includes 16 GB of internal storage. Graphics are provided by Intel HD Graphics processes providing from 2.16GHz up to 2.58GHz.
Other features include a 11.6 inch display providing users with a resolution of 1366 x 766 pixels as well as connectivity via a USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port and one HDMI port.
