If you are looking for a small form factor mini PC you might be interested to know that the Hardkernel has this week made available their new ODROID-XU3 developer board which is equipped with a Exynos 5422 octa-core processor.
Other specifications of the new ODROID-XU3 development board include ARM Mali-T628 graphics supported by 2GB of RAM, together with support eMMC 5.0 flash storage although no onboard storage is provided so you will need an SD card or eMMC module.
Ports on the board include HDMI 1.4a, and DisplayPort, a 10/100Ethernet jack, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0. Together with wireless 802.11n connectivity and a microSD card reader as well as a handy integrated power consumption monitoring tool.
Owners are able to tweak the setting on the board to either us all eight cores or a smaller selection is required and the board support operating systems such as Android 4.4 KitKat or Ubuntu 14.04 and has been specifically created for developers and hobbyists.
