Anyone looking to improve their surfing or skateboarding balance skills when away from the beach, park or off season. Might be interested in this new Gyroboard which has been developed by New Zealand company Gyro Enterprises.
The Gyroboard has been created to allow you to hone your skills at anytime, and help you to improve your core strength, balance and coordination. Watch the video after the jump to see it the Gyroboard in action.
The Gyroboard can also be used to help injury rehabilitation, sports training, or simply as a fitness tool in the house. It’s been designed to simulate the movements of a skateboard or snowboarding spinning 360 degrees and tilting front to back and from side to side. To help you get started if you new to boarding the Gyroboard can also be set to only rock and not tilt if required.
The Gyroboard is now available to purchase for $300 and comes is three different models The FDLS-BL2 designed for injury rehabilitation and general fitness use. The FSBD-BL2 hybrid is equipped with a larger, flatter deck, and the SBD-BL2 equipped with a skateboard style deck.
