Gamers patiently waiting for the new stand-alone single player Thronebreaker role-playing game designed for the Witcher Gwent card playing game to be released by CD Projekt. Thronebreaker will release this year on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 although a specific launch date has yet to be announced by the development team.
During its financial results this month CD Projekt has revealed more details about the upcoming Thronebreaker game which is now titled Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. The game has now become a full-scale RPG full of “choices and consequences”.
To learn more about what you can expect from the stand-alone RPG which offers 30 hours of single player gameplay check out the teaser trailer below. Due to the increased scope of the game, Thronebreaker: The Witchers Tales will now be made available as a standalone title, and won’t require the Gwent collectible card game client to enjoy.
Within Thronebreaker players can “explore new and never before seen parts of The Witcher world, embark on thought-provoking quests, gather resources, and engage in custom-made story battles, which twist the game’s rules in wildly unexpected ways.”
