You might remember GSLO as the company that is bringing the cool Peel 520 to the US that turns your iPod into a phone. The company has announced that it has landed the exclusive rights to North America for another cool iPhone accessory that will be coming soon
The new product is a solar charger with an internal battery for the iPhone called the Volt Solar Charger. The device slips onto the iPhone like a case and has a battery of unknown size inside. On the back of the case is a solar panel that helps to keep the battery juiced up and the iPhone going.
GSLO has offered no indication of when the Volt will land or how much it will cost. We also have only scant details about the thing right now. This might be a great device for the iPhone user who is outdoors a lot.
