Google hasn’t given an actual release date for their new Nexus 7 Android tablet in the US, although is is expected around the middle of the month, and now it would appear that the Nexus 7 may actually start shipping next week.
The news comes from some of the guys over at the XDA developers forum, as one person who pre-ordered the tablet, and then tried to cancel it was unable to do so as the device had already started shipping.
As a reminder Google Nexus 7 features a 7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, processing is provided by a quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and it also features a 12 core GPU.
The Nexus 7 comes with Android 4.1 Jelly bean and it is available with a choice of either *GB of built in storage of 16GB of built in storage.
Google has yet to announce exactly when it will be available, as soon as we get some actual confirmation we will let you guys know.
