Google has today announced Google Stadia games can now be purchased directly from the company’s Chrome browser, allowing gamers to search and purchase new additions to their cloud gaming catalogue. The new Google Stadia cloud game streaming service is capable of providing AAA video games at a resolution of up to 4K at 60 frames per second with support for high-dynamic-range.
Although there isn’t a huge library of games available at launch, Google is working hard to expand the offerings and now has over 20 games available to play on the cloud streaming service. Stadia was officially launched last month on November 19th, 2019 and competes with other gaming services such as Sony’s PlayStation Now service, Nvidia’s GeForce Now, and Microsoft’s Project xCloud.
