Over the past few weeks, we’ve heard a lot of rumors about the upcoming Google Pixel 2, revealing what the handset may bring when it launches.
To make things more confirmed, the alleged Google Pixel 2 pass through the FCC, which is usually the last stop before the handset is officially announced.
Additionally, the certification process also leaked some screenshots of the UI which is expected to come with the Google Pixel 2 (as shown above). Just like the HTC U11, it will feature the squeezable frame feature, also known as Active Edge on the Pixel 2. This means that by squeezing the frame, it will open the Google Assistant.
The handset passed through the FCC on August 5, 2017, and runs Android 8.0.1. This could be the near final build as the latest Developer Preview comes with Android 8.0.0. The handset spotted comes with a G011A model number and has 64GB of internal storage.
We’ll update you as soon as the handset is officially announced by the company along with the availability and pricing details.
